Below is what the 'trailer package' is mainly about. I do not use machinery, other then chainsaws and the mill...so the log has to get on the mill some how. Parbuckling is the only way! This log weighted at 4375 pounds, 39" at the butt end and 36" on the end closest to the camera lens. Its yield was 635 board feet, including the 5x7 beams I made, as well as the multiple 3x4, 4x6, 1-1/2x7, and 1/2" thick board-n-batten material.
The log can be turned using the roller(not seen in any photo's yet) and the same winch crank.
