Does this mean the end of the wood treats? Not even close. It is winter time in the south, and that means rain...and a lot of it. And for some unknown reason it seems to only rain Thursday through Saturday, and by the time things dry out on Tuesday or Wednesday, it starts all over again. This does a few things. Slowing the drying of the blanks that are inside the shed, and keeps me from cutting anything new. I checked on the blanks out in the shed yesterday, and I can tell you they are 'close'.
New timber cutting has pretty much come to a halt. I certainly don't want to rut up someone else's property, and definitely don't need to rut up the yard here. I have three new species of timber waiting to be dropped and sliced up by the still awesome WoodMizer....but, I can't yet.
By the way, if you have been re-directed here from the WoodMizer website and are wanting a demo of the sawmill, I am still very pleased to help you out with all the question(s) you may have. But please don't tell me that you will be here on a certain date and time, and then not show. It's a whole day from doing the things I 'needed' to do in order to get everything set-up for y'all to come by. I wouldn't do it to you....please don't do it to me(and expect me to answer your call again).
Anyway, onto the photo's....after all, it's what you really wanted to see! New blanks!!!
From left to right: "Capricorn Sea", "Cosmo Sunset", "Magic Bishop", and "Velvet Frost"!!! Pick up a few, or all(we'll make more), give them a turning, and let those customer's enough some AWESOME!!!!! Until next time, be well............
